Valley First New York New Year's Eve - Kelowna

Valley First New York New Years is our annual family-friendly celebration to ring in Kelowna’s New Year and one of the only all-ages events in Kelowna on New Year’s Eve.

Started in 2012, this is the 14th year for this one-night celebration held in Stuart Park in downtown Kelowna. Free to attend, activities and live entertainment can be enjoyed by all ages and musical tastes.

What's all the fun about?

Valley First New York New Year’s is a fantastically fun time for all ages:

We’re busy making plans for this year’s all ages “early” New Year celebration, but you can look forward to:

  • High-energy, live musical performances from some of the Okanagan’s best party bands
  • The “Kiwanis Snow Zone” with multiple FREE activity stations of games, dancing, facepainting and more
  • Glow sticks, games, and giveaways thanks to Valley First and our generous sponsors and partners
  • FREE Hot Chocolate and cookies courtesy of Costco Canada
  • Food trucks with mitten-friendly items
  • Ringing in an early New Year with special guests helping with the countdown to our fireworks show at 9 PM
