An all-ages New Year's Eve celebrationValley First New York New Years is our annual family-friendly celebration to ring in Kelowna’s New Year and one of the only all-ages events in Kelowna on New Year’s Eve.
2023 will be the 10th year for this one-night celebration held in Stuart Park and the Kelowna Community Theatre. Free to attend, activities and live entertainment can be enjoyed by all ages and musical tastes.

- High-energy, live musical performances including the youth rock band”Freeze the Fall“, classic rockers “The Harshmellows“, and South Okanagan-based New Country artists “Hillside Outlaws“
- “Snow Zone” activity stations with games, dancing, Kiki-the Snow Elf Storytime, and more
- glow sticks, games, and giveaways thanks to our generous sponsors and partners
- Food trucks with mitten-friendly items
- Deputy Mayor Mohini Singh leading the countdown with Simon Mills, President of Valley First
- Ringing in an early New Year with a SPECIAL EXTRA BIG fireworks show at 9 PM
